LOCATED IN BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANANDA. DEDICATED TO BREEDING EXCELLENT PET DUPRASI GERBILS AND RATS
Having a rodentry is not something new to me — originally I RAISED syrian hamsters in my teen years with the help of mentors in Europe and IN USA.
The interest in rats first piqued when I volunteered at a pet shop and realized how misrepresented rats are in the pet community.
My apprenticeship with West Coast Rattery (now called Arcanum Exotics & Apothecary) started in 2017, after a decade of pet rat ownership. The first year was spent mostly studying genetics, rat varieties and bombarding my mentor with a million and one questions.
duprasi gerbils were imported from europe in 2019. eversong is the longest standing duprasi breeder in western canada.
The Eversong residents are my beloved pets first and foremost; I do not breed to meet public demand and I have certain expectations of the pets I contribute to the community and the homes I decide to welcome into the eversong family.
EACH LITTER IS METICULOUSLY PLANNED AND ONLY THE BEST RATS / DOOPS ARE PAIRED. I HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS of THE ANIMALS THAT I pass on TO BE PLACED WITH THE PUBLIC.
Eversong resident rats are housed in critter nations with kiln dried pine for bedding. Well ventilated 110 quart tubs are used as maternity housing and ritten raising.
Resident duprasi gerbils are housed in small family groups in 110 quart tubs on kiln dried pine bedding.
My goals are not solely focused on longevity, health and temperment, but to also to help educate and advocated for appropriate care.
