all duprasi and rats will receive two doses of parasite preventatite prior to pick up.
the new home(s) assume the risk of potentially contaminating the duprasi/rats once they are out of eversong rattery care.
each new home recieves A pdf BIRTH CERTIFICATE, pdf new home manual, A HAMMOCK AND SAMPLE BAG OF FOOD.
EACH ANIMAL HOMED IS PET ONLY UNLESS OTHERWISE DISCUSSED AND AGREED in writing. ALL ANIMALS HERE AT EVERSONG RATTERY HAVE A DETAILED PEDIGREE AVAILABLE TO THOSE APPROVED AS BREEDERS. IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A PET ONLY ANIMAL AND HAVE DECIDED TO CHANGE YOUR MIND PLEASE REACH OUT! A PET ONLY ANIMAL MAY HAVE BEEN PLACED AS SUCH AS WE DEEM THE OVERALL TYPE/QUALITY MAY NOT BE SUITABLE AS A BREEDER OR THE ANIMAL MAY POTENTIALLY CARRY GENETIC TRAITS THAT SHOULD NOT BE BRED FOR.
new homes are required to PROVIDE suitable husbandary & care (caging, feeding, substrate, care in time injury/illness.)
if for any reason you can no longer keep eversong duprasi gerbils/rats in your care, eversong reserves the right of first refusal and the animal(s) must be returned to eversong rattery unless an alternative agreement is made in writing.
the cost to return eversong residents back to eversong falls upon the returnee.
eversong rattery does not conduct “formal” temperment assessments on duprasi gerbils/rats. instead, the duprasi gerbils and rats are observed in different unfamiliar environments, with foreign noises to observe how they react and how long it takes them to recover. a balanced duprasi gerbil/rat should recover from loud noises and unfamiliar environments without much hassle.
available duprasi gerbils/rats are first posted under the album on Facebooked titled “seeking hammocks.” Priority goes to those on the waitlist and wait time is 3-5 months at any given time. reservations are typically done on the weekends, when litters reach 6-8 weeks of age, each approved applicant is emailed with a specific two hour window to reserve their chosen duprasi gerbils/rats. left over duprasi gerbils and rats are then posted to the website and available to any one wishing to become part of the eversong family, as long as they have an approved application.

eversong rattery does not allow visitors when reserving duprasi gerbils/rats.
eversong does not allow at-home pick ups to protect human family privacy and keep eversong residents healthy and safe. instead, you are welcome to ask about individual personalities and for more pictures/videos of available animals.
the address for pick up is at a neutral location in south Surrey/Langley area, bc.
pick up is typically done on the weekends between 9:00 am and 10:00 Am.

RESERVATION OPENS ONCE A LITTER REACHES 6 WEEKS OF AGE. RESERVATION PRIORITY FIRST GOES TO THOSE ON THE WAITLIST. TO HOLD YOUR CHOSEN RITTENS A 50% NON REFUNDABLE HOLDING FEE IS PLACED AND THE REST DUE ON OR BEFORE PICK UP. WITHOUT THIS HOLDING FEE, THE RATS ARE STILL CONSIDERED AVAILABLE. RITTENS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP UPON TURNING 8 WEEKS OF AGE. IF RITTENS ARE NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 2 WEEKS, A BOARDING FEE IS CHARGED AT 5$/DAY PER RAT. IF RITTENS ARE NOT PICKED UP BEFORE REACHING 12 WEEKS OF AGE, ANY PAYMENT MADE TOWARDS THEM AS WELL AS THE RITTENS THEMSELVES ARE FORFEIT AND WILL ONCE AGAIN BECOME AVAILABLE. *
